Dr. Carter has been practicing in the Kansas City area for over eight years in various clinical specialties including ear, nose, and throat (ENT), vestibular outpatient, and occupational health. Dr. Carter earned his doctoral degree in audiology from the University of Memphis after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of North Texas.
Dr. Carter’s clinical interests include hearing loss, hearing aids, and aural rehabilitation as well as hearing conservation and musicians’ health. In clinic, Dr. Carter enjoys incorporating rehabilitative counseling and audiological theory to help maximize hearing aid benefit, reduce hearing handicap, and empower patients. Outside of clinic, Dr. Carter writes, records, and performs music at area markets and venues. He and his wife have two daughters, Rosemary and Elliot.
